Who we are

BUEN VATO is founded by the environmental engineers at AliasSmith, a company that has been working distributing Mexican spirits across Europe since 2004. Due to our sincere concern of where we are heading regarding climate change and the inevitable negative impact the production of our beloved Mexican spirits are doing, we wanted to create a brand that solely and entirely focused in only two things: taste and the less impact possible to the environment. This to prove all the sceptical wrong and show it is a good business to aim for sustainability.

We are creating this brand together with our producers in who we invest great number of hours helping them achieve a high standard of sustainability and CSR. To begin with we are launching a Blanco and a Reposado. More products and producer joining the change of the industry are to come.

We hope that you taste our tequila, it is phenomena! Besides making our brand successful we want the competition to copy us, invest as heavily reduce pollution and improve the work conditions. Join the movement and become a Buen Vato!

Our Tequila

  • Reposado

  • Produced at; Destileria Casa de Piedra, a distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco that has been producing a first-class Tequila since. The Cooperation with Buen Vato started a year ago and today we have an ongoing CSR project and the beginning of a CO2-project with the aim to lower their CO2-footprint. The producer has a world class reposado an together with them we do, with our own formula, our first Buen Vato Reposado launching in December 2021. We have a pending CRT approval.

  • Blanco

  • Produced at; Destileria La Santa Rosa, a distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco that has been producing a first-class Tequila since. The relationship started 17 years ago when the founders of Buen Vato started distributing the tequila “Los Tres Toños” in Europe. The CSR project started on 2018 and has till the date of the launching of Buen Vato claimed more than 1700 hours. The producer has today one of the higher classifications of CSR. And is 2021 initiating a CO2 project. The producer has a world class Blanco and together with them we do, with our own formula, our first Buen Vato Blanco launching in December 2021. We have a pending CRT approval.
